What this programme is
Community Infrastructure funds the physical things a community identifies as its own priority — water points, classrooms, lighting, drainage — rather than what looks best in a report.
Applications come from community groups rather than individuals, and every project requires a named local committee that stays responsible for maintenance afterwards.

Eligibility
Who can apply
These are the criteria we check. They are the same rules the portal uses when it tells you whether you are eligible — there is only one set of them.
You live in Olokoro or a neighbouring community in Umuahia South, Umuahia North or Ikwuano.
You are 18 or older and can act for your community group.
If you do not meet a criterion you can still apply, but your application is likely to be unsuccessful. Sign in and complete your profile to see where you stand before you start.

Step by step

- 3Describe the project, who it serves, and the committee that will maintain it.
- 4Upload your identity document and the community endorsement letter.
- 5Submit before the deadline. Shortlisted projects receive a site visit.
