Terms of use

The basis on which you may use this site and the applicant portal.

This text is not final

The Trust has not yet approved the wording of this page, so what follows describes what the finished document will cover rather than being that document. It is not a statement of the Trust’s position and should not be relied on as one.

If you need an answer before it is published, ask the Trust directly and you will get one.

What these terms will cover

These terms are drafted by the build team and approved by the Trust — OD-12. The approved text is not yet available.

They will cover the following, and the portal already behaves accordingly.

  • Acceptable use of the site and the portal, and what constitutes misuse of an account
  • That information supplied in an application must be accurate and complete
  • The consequences of a false declaration, including withdrawal of an award already made
  • That an award creates no entitlement to a further award
  • Ownership of the content on this site, and what may be reproduced
  • How these terms change, and how you are told when they do

Applying before these terms are published

Nothing here removes the obligation to answer an application honestly. If you are unsure whether something should be declared, ask — a question costs nothing, and a declaration made late is treated very differently from one that was never made.
